    Important notice

    The final decision on your visa will be the same for all applicants, regardless of whether they have used the premium lounge service.

    All premium lounge service customers are required to follow the instructions on applying for a visa in this website.

    How to Apply

    Premium lounge service applicants are recommended to come prepared with printed copies of their application forms completed online (www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk). Staff at the visa application centre will be able to help you transcribe the application form. This will increase the time it takes to process your visa at the visa application centre.

    How to book an appointment using the premium lounge service
    Premium lounge service applicants are not required to follow the normal appointment procedure. You can book appointments to apply at your preferred time and date using any of the following ways:

    Applicants will be given their preferred time and date providing the premium service lounge has not already reached its maximum handling limits. Alternative dates and times will be suggested.

    Note: Applicants will be expected to provide their mobile phone number and email address details as the lounge coordinator might need these to contact the applicant to confirm the arrangements. This is not mandatory.

    Application submission and collection

    Application submission time 08:30 to 15:30
    Passport collection time 08:30 to 17:00

    For submission: The applicant must visit the visa application centre in person. A relative, friend or representative cannot submit the application.

    For collection: If an applicant wants to collect a passport from the visa application centre personally, they need to provide the following:
    • Receipt and bio page of the passport with the collection stamp in original

    If a representative collects an applicant's passport from the visa application centre they would need to provide the following:
    • Receipt and bio page of the passport with the collection stamp in original
    • Authorisation letter from the applicant
    • Photocopy of the collector's internal passport

    If a representative collects a passport of an child aged below 16 years-of-age they need to provide the following:
    • Receipt and bio page of the passport with the collection stamp in original
    • Authorisation letter from the parent
    • Birth certificate of the child
    • Photocopy of parent's internal passport
    • Photocopy of the collector's internal passport

    Please note: You may opt for a courier assisted facility whereby your passport and other documents will be returned using courier service. This facility is available at a nominal extra cost. Please see the 'additional services' page.

    Where to Apply

    UK Border Agency Visa Application Centre
    5/24 Irininskaya Street, office 90, Kyiv 01034 (Subway "Maydan Nezalezhnosti")

    The visa application centre is situated at the cross roads of Irininskaya Street and Mikhaylovskiy Lane in a new high rise office-apartment building. Please note: the entrance is located to the back of the building. Access to the visa application centre is from Shevchenko or Sofiyevskaya Street.

    What does it cost?

    Premium lounge service is available at charge of USD 200, inclusive of all applicable taxes (payable in equivalent Hryvnia). The visa applicable fee and courier service fee (if applicable) is charged separately. A list of visa application fees can be found on this website.

    Frequently Asked Questions - Premium Lounge Service

    1. Does the use of the premium lounge service guarantee that the visa decision is made within 48 hours or even faster?
      No, processing times at the UK Border Agency among the fastest in the Ukraine. Routine checks will still take a minimum of 24 hours to be resolved.

    2. Will the introduction of the premium lounge service cause extra delays in a waiting queue?
      No, additional resources have been arranged to deal exclusively with the premium lounge service, which does not undermine the existing service, but instead will free up extra service in the current application centre.

    3. Does the premium service lounge fee include the visa fee?
      No the visa fee is an additional and separate charge.

    4. Will the use of premium lounge service guarantee that the customer will get a visa?
      No, the consideration process remains unaffected, only the submission phase is expedited.

    5. Is the telephone number given for arranging premium lounge service chargeable?
      No. There is no call charge for contacting the premium lounge service line. It is a dedicated line used to book appointments. All applicants must call the visa application centre line number to obtain visa related information.

    6. Do I need to fill in an application form before going to visa application centre?
      An applicant using the premium lounge service can attend the visa application centre with a completed application form or they may like staff at the visa application centre to help them transcribe the application form.

    7. Will the clients of premium lounge service be informed about the list of the necessary documents to take in advance?
      This information is available on the UK Border Agency Visa Service website; copies of the guidance will be available at the visa application centre.

    8. How will my passport be returned?
      Customers will have access to the same courier service available to all applicants. Applicants can also authorise a representative to collect documents on their behalf. The representative will need a letter of authority and the application receipt.
