The services mentioned here are optional. To use them, you will need to pay an extra fee in addition to the visa application fee. You must pay this extra fee when you attend the visa application centre only.

SMS Service - track your application
SMS and e-mail news updates will be sent to your mobile phone and your registered e-mail address provided in your application form, informing the status of your visa application. You will receive several automated messages to your mobile phone and e-mail informing you what stage your application is within the process. The service supports the transfer of SMS text in Ukrainian, Russian and English languages. At the end of the process you will receive an automated message (in English only) informing you that UK Border Agency has made a decision on your visa application. You will not be informed on the outcome of the decision on your visa application.
You can buy this service for USD 2 only (charged in Hryvnia, VAT excluded), at the time you submit your visa application form, supporting documents and biometric data at the visa application centre. The application form can be downloaded and completed before you visit the visa application centre by

Courier Service
Applicants may request for a courier service for documents to be returned. This facility is available at a small extra cost. Delivery usually takes 2 - 5 days from when the visa application centre receives your documents returned by the British Embassy. If you have paid for this service, you can call this number to track your shipment. Please note that TNT will need your
Air Way Bill number to give this information.

Priority visa service
The UK Border Agency in Ukraine will introduce a priority visa service in Kyiv from 16 January 2012.
You will be able pay an additional fee to fast track your application and have your visa application put on top of the queue. Only a limited number of priority visas will be sold each day on a first come, first served basis.
The priority visa service will be available to applicants submitting UK visit visa applications only. To apply for a priority visa you must complete and submit a UK visa application online as normal and book an online appointment to attend the UK's visa application centre, operated by VFS Global in Kyiv where you will be able to obtain further details about the priority service.
This service does not imply or guarantee in any way that by using the priority service you will be successful in your visa application. All visa applicants must meet the requirements of the UK Immigration rules. The amount paid for the priority service, as well as the visa application fee, is not refundable if the visa application is refused or, in exceptional cases, takes longer to process.
You should be aware that you may experience extended processing times if any of the following factors apply, if you have:

previously been refused a visa for the UK, and/or; |

previously been refused leave to enter the UK, and/or; |
|
previously been deported, removed, or otherwise required to leave the UK, and/or; |
|
overstayed a period of leave in the UK, and/or; |
|
been refused leave to remain in the UK by the Home Office, and/or; |
|
been refused a visa for Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United States of America or the Schengen countries |
|
been convicted of a criminal offence in any country. |
